Our story


An athlete and coach, John “John-John” Charles has never been the kind of guy to back away from a challenge. What began as a humble attempt to recreate a neighbor’s from-scratch BBQ sauce became a test of determination and persistence to create something even more delicious. Within the walls of his home amidst COVID-19, John continued to experiment and refine his recipe and John-John’s BBQ sauce was born. 

 

Grown in the Pacific Northwest – the “PNW” – John-John’s BBQ Sauce is inspired by the field to table cattle raised in the region and is designed to be paired with fresh, high-quality meats and more. Hand-bottled, his sauces embody the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and smoky. Flecks of black pepper, onion, and garlic meet ripe tomatoes, molasses, hickory smoke flavor and more. It’s the sauce that even meat asks for by name.
